¿Cómo me preparo para el examen de comprensión auditiva del Staatsexamen NT2 Programma I (Luisteren)?
El examen de comprensión auditiva de NT2 Programma I (Luisteren) usa neerlandés cotidiano de nivel B1, sobre trabajo, estudio y vida diaria. Cada fragmento se reproduce una sola vez, así que no puedes volver a escucharlo.
La mejor forma gratuita de prepararte es escuchar mucho neerlandés real al nivel B1. Abajo hay un paquete gratuito de 99 videos de B1, a una velocidad de habla cercana a la del examen.

¿Cómo debo prepararme para el examen de comprensión auditiva del NT2 Programma I?
Primero, entiende qué te espera. Luisteren dura 90 minutos y tiene unas 40 preguntas sobre 5 o más textos auditivos. Cada pregunta da 3 o 4 respuestas, y solo una es correcta. Tienes unos 25 segundos para leer la pregunta antes de que empiece su fragmento, y de 1 a 3 fragmentos son videoclips cortos. Y cada fragmento se reproduce una sola vez. El Goethe y el DELF repiten partes del audio, pero este examen nunca lo hace, así que tienes que captarlo a la primera.
Así que antes de inscribirte al examen, tómate un tiempo para hacer un examen de práctica. Los oficiales son gratis y puedes hacerlos en casa, en tu propia computadora. Eso te da una idea clara del nivel, y te ayuda a comprobar si ya estás listo.
Practica a la velocidad del examen, no a la de los podcasts
El audio del examen va bastante rápido. Ayuda practicar mucho con los exámenes de práctica y con video real, y dejar atrás los podcasts que hablan despacio a propósito. Son geniales cuando empiezas, pero no preparan tu oído para la velocidad del examen.
Las personas de los fragmentos hablan del trabajo, los estudios y la vida diaria a la velocidad que usarían con cualquiera. Eso es neerlandés normal, y en eso deberías centrar tu tiempo de práctica.
Elige videos de tu nivel, con un poco de desafío
Asegúrate de practicar con videos de tu nivel, pero elige algunos que le exijan un poco más a tu oído. Si todo te resulta fácil, no estás entrenando nada. Si casi no entiendes nada, solo estás adivinando.
Y si puedes, practica con una persona neerlandesa o con un profesor que te haga preguntas sobre detalles del material que estás usando. Tener que responderle a alguien te hace escuchar con mucha más atención que si practicas solo.
El ejercicio de escucha de 20 segundos
Muchos podcasts y videos vienen con subtítulos o transcripción. Así es como yo los usaría. Toma un fragmento corto, de unos 20 segundos, y trabájalo así:
Escúchalo una vez sin mirar el texto. ¿Qué captaste? ¿Qué detalles entendiste?
Di en voz alta lo que escuchaste, o deja que alguien te haga una pregunta detallada al respecto.
Escúchalo de nuevo, todavía sin el texto, y fíjate si tu respuesta cambia.
Escúchalo una tercera vez mientras lees la transcripción o los subtítulos.
Pasa al siguiente fragmento y empieza de nuevo.
Haz esto durante 30 minutos como máximo, y date un descanso después. Concentrarte tanto gasta mucha energía, así que cuídate y no te excedas. Es una excelente forma de entrenar tu oído y de acostumbrarte a captar la información que necesitas.
También puedes practicar esto en la vida real
No necesitas una pantalla para esto. En el tren, mientras esperas tu café en tu cafetería favorita, o cuando la gente a tu alrededor está hablando, escucha de la misma forma. ¿De qué están hablando? ¿Qué decidieron? Todo cuenta.
Los neerlandeses usan muchas muletillas
Decimos uhm, zeg maar («o sea»), weet je wel («¿sabes?»), nou («bueno») y hoe zal ik het zeggen («cómo lo diría») todo el tiempo. Llenan el silencio mientras pensamos, y casi no tienen significado.
Para el examen, concéntrate en acertar la respuesta. Intenta filtrar esas palabras y escucha las palabras clave que acabas de leer en la pregunta.
Una buena semana tiene las dos cosas. Mira neerlandés real de tu nivel casi todos los días para que tu oído se acostumbre a la velocidad normal, y haz un examen de práctica completo de vez en cuando para que el formato no te sorprenda el día del examen. Ten paciencia contigo y disfrútalo. Succes!

Programma I certifica el neerlandés de nivel B1. La gente suele necesitarlo para:
Estudiar a nivel mbo, o trabajar a nivel mbo-3 o mbo-4
La naturalización (la ciudadanía neerlandesa), para la que cuenta el diploma NT2 de nivel B1 o B2
La integración (inburgering), donde la B1-route es la ruta estándar

¿Cómo es la prueba de comprensión auditiva del B1?
El examen de comprensión auditiva (Luisteren) dura 90 minutos y tiene unas 40 preguntas de opción múltiple sobre 5 o más textos auditivos. Cada pregunta tiene 3 o 4 opciones, y solo una es correcta. Programma I y Programma II tienen el mismo formato; lo que cambia es el nivel del neerlandés. Esto es lo que encuentras:

Grabaciones cortas sobre situaciones de trabajo, de estudio y de la vida diaria, por ejemplo conversaciones, instrucciones y charlas breves.

¿Qué nivel y cuántas palabras necesito?
La comprensión auditiva necesita muchas menos palabras que la lectura. La investigación muestra que unas 3.000 palabras comunes cubren aproximadamente el 95% del habla normal, y las primeras 1.000 palabras cubren la mayor parte de lo que dice la gente.
El video es la forma más fácil de entender, porque las imágenes te ayudan a deducir el significado. Así que no necesitas un vocabulario muy amplio. Necesitas las palabras comunes y mucha práctica de comprensión auditiva a tu nivel.

¿Cómo se eligió este paquete del NT2 Programma I?
Nosotros hicimos la búsqueda por ti. Revisamos miles de videos en neerlandés y medimos cada uno: su nivel, la velocidad de habla en palabras por minuto y cuántas de sus palabras son comunes. Para este paquete guardamos videos al nivel B1 en neerlandés estándar, a una velocidad cercana a la del examen (alrededor de 200 palabras por minuto), donde alrededor del 97% de las palabras están entre las más comunes del neerlandés hablado. Luego leímos las transcripciones a mano para mantener los temas cotidianos que el examen usa, y pusimos los videos más claros y visuales primero. Unas 3.000 palabras comunes ya cubren aproximadamente el 95% del habla normal (Nation 2006), así que este tipo de contenido se ajusta bien al examen.
¿Con qué tipo de videos debo practicar para la comprensión auditiva del NT2 Programma I?
Usa neerlandés real hablado a una velocidad cotidiana normal, en el neerlandés de los Países Bajos y no en el flamenco. Elige los temas de trabajo, estudio y vida cotidiana que usa el examen, como vida cotidiana, viajes y transporte, sociedad y actualidad, trabajo, salud and vivienda. No necesitas palabras raras. Unas 3.000 palabras comunes cubren la mayor parte del habla normal (Nation 2006), así que el contenido creado con las palabras más comunes del habla se ajusta bien al examen. Una buena combinación es un reportaje de noticias corto, una entrevista, una conversación cotidiana y una explicación clara, porque los fragmentos del examen suenan así. Así es exactamente como se armó el paquete gratuito de 99 videos de arriba.
¿El audio de comprensión auditiva del NT2 se reproduce una o dos veces?
Una vez. En el Staatsexamen NT2 Luisteren cada fragmento se reproduce una sola vez, y el audio empieza solo. Otros exámenes, como el Goethe o el DELF, reproducen partes del audio dos veces, así que aquí no esperes una segunda oportunidad. La mejor preparación es practicar entender una grabación a la primera, sin volver atrás.
¿Necesito el Programma I o el Programma II?
Programma I es de nivel B1. Sirve para estudiar a nivel mbo y trabajar a nivel mbo-3 o mbo-4. Programma II es de nivel B2 y sirve para estudiar o trabajar a nivel hbo o universitario. Para la naturalización cuentan los dos. No tienes que aprobar Programma I antes de hacer Programma II.
¿Es Programma I suficiente para la ciudadanía neerlandesa (naturalización)?
Sí. Para la naturalización necesitas el inburgeringsexamen de nivel A2, o el Staatsexamen NT2 de nivel B1 o B2. Un diploma de Programma I cuenta, y el B1 está un nivel por encima del mínimo A2, así que el mismo diploma también demuestra más neerlandés para estudiar y trabajar.
¿Puedo prepararme gratis?
Sí. La práctica gratuita más parecida al examen es el entorno de práctica oficial de NT2, donde puedes hacer exámenes reales de ambos programas en tu computadora, incluido Luisteren. Después de eso, lo mejor que puedes hacer gratis es escuchar mucho neerlandés real a tu nivel. Empieza con los 99 videos de arriba, o mira más en YouTube o aquí en Reelang.
¿Cuánto cuesta el Staatsexamen NT2?
Cada parte del examen cuesta 50 euros, así que las cuatro partes de un programa completo (lectura, comprensión auditiva, escritura y expresión oral) cuestan 200 euros en total. Puedes hacer las partes por separado, y puedes repetir una parte que no hayas aprobado.
¿En qué se diferencia el video del audio de los libros de texto?
El audio de los libros de texto suele ser lento y muy claro, con actores que hablan con cuidado. El video real usa velocidad normal y voces reales, lo cual está más cerca del examen. Las imágenes también te ayudan a deducir palabras que aún no conoces. En el examen de NT2 esto importa el doble: de 1 a 3 de los fragmentos del examen son en sí mismos videos cortos.
